At BKT’s Bhuj plant, we provide a housing colony located just 18 km from Bhuj City in Gujarat. This proximity to our manufacturing facility reduces commute time, lowers emissions, and enhances employee engagement and productivity.
Equipped with a wide range of amenities, from parks and a shopping complex to a clubhouse and even a pre-primary school, there’s something for everyone. Families residing in the colony can also benefit from the well-rounded infrastructure and community-oriented activities designed to create a supportive and enjoyable living environment.
At BKT, we understand the importance of giving back to the people and the planet. As a company, we have a responsibility for the rural health and wellbeing of the communities around us.
We partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation and supported the provision of mid-day meals to 28,000 children in Bhuj, aiming to curb dropouts and improve health and education. We have collaborated with a variety of charities and change-making organizations, including, The Child Welfare Trust, Bhuj, Sapna Shiksshalaya, New Delhi, Sunshine Society, Noida, Enviro Creators Foundation, Swasthya Vidhya Foundation, Panna Narendra Dalal Charitable Trust in Mumbai, and many more
A great example of our CSR activities includes collaborating with Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratishthan (BAVP), a registered charitable trust. Together, we are set to expand Dr. Hedgewar Hospital by 286 beds and establish a medical college, marking a transformative step towards becoming a teaching institute and furthering their mission of promoting health and education in the community.
